Moving Away

I know lots of people who travelled the world. The backpacked and experienced life. I really envy them. I would like to travel the world too. I don't know about the backpacking part. I always had excuses. There was the 'no money', 'no time' excuses. I was scared.

I really want to work somewhere else. I would like to work in an English speaking country. I don't have a bachelor's degree and I don't have any extra special skills which makes it really hard for me to work in another country. There is a working VISA for people aged 19-30 for England or Australia. I wish I did that. I know I would settle my life in Vancouver. I don't have to stay here.

I think this is the perfect time for me to go elsewhere. I am not tied down. I don't have a bf. I don't own a house. I don't have kids. The only big thing I own is my car. I can probably sell it. Being single is a huge advantage. I can fly with the wind and go where the wind takes me.

  1. Hi Lisa, I heard people have great fun teaching English as a foreign language in places like Japan, Korea and Hong Kong. And there are English speaking communities in these places too for expats and all. Not sure about degrees. But I've heard there're ESFL certificate courses for instructors. Go pursue your dream ... wherever you may go ... best of luck!!
